So far, I am not impressed with this "family values" candidate who parades her pregnant teenage daughter in front of the media. (My concern, just to be clear, is for the daughter's welfare in such a situation.) Mature, rational people -- especially working parents -- know that raising children is an important and time-consuming activity. Mature, rational people attend to research findings and make decisions based upon them (for example, the finding that abstinence-only sex education is highly correlated with teenage pregnancy). Mature, rational people want to know how any potential vice president handles major crises.
